MLM-Network Marketing Success Vs Job Success

These days there are a lot of people questioning their participation in the American economic system. The Tried and true 40-40-40 plan has failed scores of very good hard working people. You know the drill, work 40 hours a day for 40 years to take a 40 percent pay-cut in retirement.

The two main problems with the above mentioned plan are that companies no longer want tenured employees and the fact the your retirement funds, if they are not lost in the stock market, are worth very little against inflation, therefore your lifestyle will have to decrease sharply.

With Modern MLM-Network Marketing You Can Overcome Blood From a Turnip Financial Advice

I must admit that I am sort of a TV nerd. I love shows like sixty minutes and the News Hour on PBS. I flip through CNN news and other informational programming all the time. One of the reoccurring themes that I see now days is so called experts giving advice on personal finances.

Just a day or two ago, I saw another expert giving what I consider minimalist advice. I believe in being smart with your money, but after a while it just doesn't add up for a lot of people. Most of the repeated advice goes something like this.

You need to save an emergency fund (6 months living expenses) in case of a lay off or other emergency. You need to pay yourself first by saving a percentage of your salary before paying for or buying anything. You need to contribute the maximum to your 401k. You need to save a college fund for the kids; and on and on and on; and I haven't even mentioned enjoying life!

This is Blood From A Turnip Advice For Most People

The Problem I have with the above advice that I hear given over and over again is where is the money for all this good advice gonna come from? The average American could possibly achieve some of these things if they buy only the things they need in life; which creates another little problem since our economy is based on people buying over and above what they need. When Americans buy only what they need in life, the economy goes into recession. Salaries are stagnate at best for most people and the middle class is being squeeze more and more every day. Before I left the airline industry my salary/benefits were slashed by 35%.

Why Not MLM/Network Marketing

When I hear the advice of these experts, I sit there waiting for someone to state what I think is the obvious; people need more income. I know that if you are bad with money, more of it won't help you; but I am talking straight numbers here. There is just not enough money coming in for most families. Now I know the reputation that old school tactics have caused in MLM/Network Marketing, but you have to know the benefits that MLM offers can enable families to make large enough incomes to accomplish the above mentioned goals and have more time together as a family.

Now, I know what you are thinking, MLM/Network marketing would be great if I could build it without chasing people around! bugging my family and friends, printing flyers and so on. How I Helped to Create 20 MLM-Network Marketing Failures

Boy, it seems like a long time ago my first years in the MLM/Network marketing. I was raised to get a high-school education and get a good job. Only one of my siblings had gone to college in my family. During this time the late eighties, a high school graduate could still get a so called good job. Although looking back on it this time period was the beginning of the end of good paying long-term employment for a high-school graduate.

What Made Me Want More

I personally knew one guy who took full advantage of the American way. He was a sports agent and my brother in law. I truly didn't know anybody else doing anything but working a pretty regular job. This brother in law was an optimistic energetic sort, who seemed to want to pull others along in his realization of the American dream.

He started an Amway distributorship, and I was one of his first distributors. His business took off really fast locally because of his popularity. You see, he was an athletic star in high school and college in the area; that with his success as a sports agent, open personality, and hard work, made his business take off at a record pace.

My First MLM/Network Marketing Experience

When I think back on it, I was so excited and ready to change my circumstances. I took delivery of my kit and I was on my way. I was taught all the basic techniques. Make a list of everyone I knew, make X number of cold phone calls every day, talk to your friends and family first, be sure to attend weekly meeting bringing any guest you can.

I was given scripts on what to say to strangers in public. I was so ready to win that it didn't really matter what they, I was going to do it. My excitement paid off pretty fast. I sponsored approximately 20 new distributors was recognized by my up-line and even made some money.

How I Created 20 MLM/Network Marketing Doubters

All was well on my front line as it is called. But when I started to try to duplicate my efforts I found out that the above techniques were very difficult for my people. My down-line was full of very nice people, but like most new MLMers they were new to the excess rejection inherent in sponsoring with these techniques, and over time they began to fall off; joining the ranks of the 95% that fail at MLM.

My MLM/Network Marketing Happy Ending

I continued on working in the airline industry while continuing my MLM business efforts part time. I made part-time money. I tried a couple of different opportunities also; always making some income without really breaking through.

Throughout all this time I never forgot how difficult it was for my business partners to build thriving MLM businesses; this frustrated me to no end because I am very much aware of the financial and lifestyle benefits that MLM holds. The problem has been the wall of rejection that new MLM business owners face. The old methods of sponsoring/recruiting result in a 95-97% failure rate! Now here is the good news! The current generation of young MLMers have automated the sponsoring process so that prequalified prospects actual pursue you!

I am 47 and was skeptical myself after my old Amway attempt back in the early 90's. Even after I sponsored 20 or so people, the wall of rejection that my team faced prevented good people from succeeding. Buying leads, cold calls, flyers, promoting the company site, the 3 foot rule, prospecting in malls, making a list of everyone you know; these methods have a proven track record, 95-97% failure that is a undisputed fact and a good reason not to even try MLM.

So what is the answer? You use a MODERN DAY marketing system that is INTERNET BASED! A system that will generate multiple qualified leads daily and put money in your pocket at the same time! This is what younger big time MLMers are doing. So, if you are still holding on to your old view of Multi Level Marketing you are truly missing out.

This Is A Perfect Opportunity For Recently Laid-Off Workers!

Ok you are laid off, what part of this can't you do? You take a day or two to get familiar with how a online MLM marketing system works; yes you do this before you join any MLM, because remember in the past, the problem with MLM was the sponsoring/recruiting methods; not the product or company; so figure that out first!

First of all I am not speaking from theory here. I have participated in Multi-Level Marketing in some fashion for approximately 20 years. Let me say up front that MLM is probably the best vehicle for the average person to drastically change their financial circumstances.

Yes, when MLM works it really works. Buts sadly, we know that about 95% of these business owners either don't make it, or they hang around for long periods of time just holding on to the dream. Attending meetings where the top earners refresh the dream for them and anybody that they were able to persuade to attend.

What Is It That Makes So Many Fail?

It's the sponsoring piece! The sponsoring or recruiting portion of the MLM business is essential for success, but it is also the very thing that sends the average person running soon after finding out that your business is Multi Level Marketing. What about the jokes or snide remarks you hear about MLM businesses from people who have nothing but a job!

Why Building a List is Much Better Than Making a List For Your MLM-Network Marketing Business

In this article I will outline the major differences between making a list and building a list. I know that these two concepts sound very similar, but stay with me here and I will explain.

If you have a MLM/Network marketing business you are familiar with being told to MAKE a list of everyone you know as a tool for marketing your business; friends, family, Plummer, dentist, everybody. Now there are a few things about performing this old school network marketing task.

First of all your up-line or MLM Company means well by requesting that you MAKE this list. However, the problem with MAKING a list is that the people on the list are not qualified or vetted to use a modern term. In other words you have no idea whether or not these people are even interested in having business.

Another problem with MAKING a list is that most MLM/Network marketers are making their first attempt at owning a business. So the rejection inherent with prospecting individuals who have shown no interest in having a business kills their spirit rather quickly in most cases.

BUILDING A List Is The Way To Go:

Lately, MLM/Network Marketing has undergone a massive marketing/sponsoring/recruiting change. All of this is being done over the internet. BUILDING a list for your business goes something like this. Over the internet you put advertisements out using both free and paid sources. You provide useful content and or training in return for the names and email addresses of people that are INTERESTED in having a business.

Even with this list most of them will not join your MLM/Network Marketing business, at least not right away. However, they will be interested in more information and products to help them with whatever business they do choose. (Did you catch that?)

With the right marketing funnel you can BUILD a list of prospects for sponsoring, make money with those that do not join your opportunity and stop the revolving door in and out of your business by teaching your business partners how to use this system.

There are relatively few MLM/Network marketers that have knowledge of such a system. I recently discovered this system and my sponsoring/recruiting efforts are all online now.
