America and most of the world is going through a major economic challenge right now. One of the things that feeds these things called recessions is a reduction in spending on things other than bare necessities. It is amazing how little we really need; anyway, that's another article.

People feel compelled to stop spending for one reason or another ranging from job loss to basic caution because of the news reports. While watching one of these report it occurred to me that if more people had larger and more secure incomes, we would be less likely to see these downturns.

But wages have been stagnate in most industries for about 20years in America; and now more than ever we know that job security is lacking.

During economic conditions such as these you would think people would be rushing to sign-up for the low cost independent business opportunities that a good number of MLM/Network marketing companies offer. So why aren't they?

Most People are Spooked By MLM/Networking The Old Way

Well, I am sure that you have heard if not told some the stories about the MLM nightmares of so people. These tales range from shady company stories to sponsoring/prospecting burn-out. I can see why many people simply take their chances with a job.

The failure rate of MLM/Networking the old way is 95-97%. In my opinion the great potential of this industry has yet to be seen; and has been tainted by old out dated marketing tactics that effectively kill the business ownership dreams of way too many good capable people.

We Need Revolutionary (Webbased) MLM/Network Marketing-No More Old School

If you were involved in the network marketing industry in the past or currently have a business, you really need to stop and take a look at how you are marketing your opportunity. Basically you need an endless supply of leads and cash along the way to run your business.

With Modern MLM-Network Marketing You Can Overcome Blood From a Turnip Financial Advice

I must admit that I am sort of a TV nerd. I love shows like sixty minutes and the News Hour on PBS. I flip through CNN news and other informational programming all the time. One of the reoccurring themes that I see now days is so called experts giving advice on personal finances.

Just a day or two ago, I saw another expert giving what I consider minimalist advice. I believe in being smart with your money, but after a while it just doesn't add up for a lot of people. Most of the repeated advice goes something like this.

You need to save an emergency fund (6 months living expenses) in case of a lay off or other emergency. You need to pay yourself first by saving a percentage of your salary before paying for or buying anything. You need to contribute the maximum to your 401k. You need to save a college fund for the kids; and on and on and on; and I haven't even mentioned enjoying life!

This is Blood From A Turnip Advice For Most People

The Problem I have with the above advice that I hear given over and over again is where is the money for all this good advice gonna come from? The average American could possibly achieve some of these things if they buy only the things they need in life; which creates another little problem since our economy is based on people buying over and above what they need. When Americans buy only what they need in life, the economy goes into recession. Salaries are stagnate at best for most people and the middle class is being squeeze more and more every day. Before I left the airline industry my salary/benefits were slashed by 35%.

Why Not MLM/Network Marketing

When I hear the advice of these experts, I sit there waiting for someone to state what I think is the obvious; people need more income. I know that if you are bad with money, more of it won't help you; but I am talking straight numbers here. There is just not enough money coming in for most families. Now I know the reputation that old school tactics have caused in MLM/Network Marketing, but you have to know the benefits that MLM offers can enable families to make large enough incomes to accomplish the above mentioned goals and have more time together as a family.

Now, I know what you are thinking, MLM/Network marketing would be great if I could build it without chasing people around! bugging my family and friends, printing flyers and so on. Well, if you were paying close attention, in the previous paragraph when I mentioned MLM/Network marketing I said old school MLM/Network marketing.

How I Helped to Create 20 MLM-Network Marketing Failures

Boy, it seems like a long time ago my first years in the MLM/Network marketing. I was raised to get a high-school education and get a good job. Only one of my siblings had gone to college in my family. During this time the late eighties, a high school graduate could still get a so called good job. Although looking back on it this time period was the beginning of the end of good paying long-term employment for a high-school graduate.

What Made Me Want More

I personally knew one guy who took full advantage of the American way. He was a sports agent and my brother in law. I truly didn't know anybody else doing anything but working a pretty regular job. This brother in law was an optimistic energetic sort, who seemed to want to pull others along in his realization of the American dream.

He started an Amway distributorship, and I was one of his first distributors. His business took off really fast locally because of his popularity. You see, he was an athletic star in high school and college in the area; that with his success as a sports agent, open personality, and hard work, made his business take off at a record pace.

My First MLM/Network Marketing Experience

When I think back on it, I was so excited and ready to change my circumstances. I took delivery of my kit and I was on my way. I was taught all the basic techniques. Make a list of everyone I knew, make X number of cold phone calls every day, talk to your friends and family first, be sure to attend weekly meeting bringing any guest you can.

I was given scripts on what to say to strangers in public. I was so ready to win that it didn't really matter what they, I was going to do it. My excitement paid off pretty fast. I sponsored approximately 20 new distributors was recognized by my up-line and even made some money.

How I Created 20 MLM/Network Marketing Doubters

All was well on my front line as it is called. But when I started to try to duplicate my efforts I found out that the above techniques were very difficult for my people. My down-line was full of very nice people, but like most new MLMers they were new to the excess rejection inherent in sponsoring with these techniques, and over time they began to fall off; joining the ranks of the 95% that fail at MLM.

My MLM/Network Marketing Happy Ending

I continued on working in the airline industry while continuing my MLM business efforts part time. I made part-time money. I tried a couple of different opportunities also; always making some income without really breaking through.

Throughout all this time I never forgot how difficult it was for my business partners to build thriving MLM businesses; this frustrated me to no end because I am very much aware of the financial and lifestyle benefits that MLM holds. As the internet became more and more popular, I would wonder how it could be used to solve the MLM sponsoring problem.

Then one day I was on the net and came across a video that claimed to understand every aspect of this problem. The guy on the video was a regular guy that pretty much told the short version of the story in this article. I put my information in, clicked on the link, got the free training promised, and I was amazed.

Ok this article is getting too long, but I just want to tell everyone out there that thinks they can not have a MLM business because of the sponsoring/recruiting requirement that if you get with the right people using modern day internet marketing techniques you can do it.
