Why Building a List is Much Better Than Making a List For Your MLM-Network Marketing Business

In this article I will outline the major differences between making a list and building a list. I know that these two concepts sound very similar, but stay with me here and I will explain.

If you have a MLM/Network marketing business you are familiar with being told to MAKE a list of everyone you know as a tool for marketing your business; friends, family, Plummer, dentist, everybody. Now there are a few things about performing this old school network marketing task.

First of all your up-line or MLM Company means well by requesting that you MAKE this list. However, the problem with MAKING a list is that the people on the list are not qualified or vetted to use a modern term. In other words you have no idea whether or not these people are even interested in having business.

Another problem with MAKING a list is that most MLM/Network marketers are making their first attempt at owning a business. So the rejection inherent with prospecting individuals who have shown no interest in having a business kills their spirit rather quickly in most cases.

BUILDING A List Is The Way To Go:

Lately, MLM/Network Marketing has undergone a massive marketing/sponsoring/recruiting change. All of this is being done over the internet. BUILDING a list for your business goes something like this. Over the internet you put advertisements out using both free and paid sources. You provide useful content and or training in return for the names and email addresses of people that are INTERESTED in having a business.

Even with this list most of them will not join your MLM/Network Marketing business, at least not right away. However, they will be interested in more information and products to help them with whatever business they do choose. (Did you catch that?)

With the right marketing funnel you can BUILD a list of prospects for sponsoring, make money with those that do not join your opportunity and stop the revolving door in and out of your business by teaching your business partners how to use this system.

There are relatively few MLM/Network marketers that have knowledge of such a system. I recently discovered this system and my sponsoring/recruiting efforts are all online now.

The system generates 50-100 leads per day on auto pilot. That is a Godsend for any MLM/Network marketer. I hope this article helps you with your business. Take the time to rethink/modernize your sponsoring strategies; this is one area that you do not want to use old school practices in.
